Sorry! I know I haven't posted in a while but it's been that time of year again that sends the whole world into panic mode and non stop organising...Christmas! My christmas holidays has basically been full of stuffing my face (has to be done otherwise I am not celebrating christmas right), special family time, get togethers and christmas movie marathons... Perfect.
I decided that it was time to shift some of that christmas podge and to get some fresh air so I ventured out on New Years Eve morning to capture sunrise and make the most of this gorgeous cold and crisp weather we have been given. It gave me the chance to get my practice in taking photographs using manual, managing my settings carefully with the lighting changing throughout the morning. Here are a few of the snaps I got:-
The first image below is one of my particular favourites, what I like is how two seasons are visible in the one photograph. The top section of the image is of the autumnal colours from the sun shining through the tree's producing what looks like a water colour painting of the trunks on the lake. The colours in the bottom part of the image are cold from the ice and snow creating a great contrast.
